Autumn, a ring of a thousand shades

HISTORY

The Autumn ring, which is the third in the Four Seasons Collection, was first imagined in 2018 by Philip Bonnet and Christophe Mariusse, cousins and co-founders of the Atelier. Both of them are fascinated by Nature, and through its design and colours, the Autumn ring needed to represent this season with its thousands of colours, where the leaves fall and gather in the wind.

Like a walk in the forest, this unique creation proudly displays the colour palette of the autumn season. With red, yellow, orange and green hues, the Autumn ring is like a shimmering world, where mild temperatures give way to a new, cooler and more humid climate.

The two designers are both fascinated with stones, particularly Philip, and they wanted to use this ring to highlight the sapphire and their expertise in selecting the gems. With its high-quality stones, this piece of jewellery sparkles brilliantly and will not fail to impress.

FABRICATION

Entirely made in France, in Valence, this luxury ring proudly bears the Mariusse & Bonnet signature style. The elegant and refined ring respects the traditional know-how of French Haute Joaillerie and has been designed and crafted to the highest standard. Every detail has been given careful consideration by Christophe Mariusse and Philip Bonnet in order to create a piece that is truly a work of art. With a weight of 16.70 grams, the Autumn ring underwent many different phases throughout its creation.

First of all, the inspirations for the ring were autumnal leaves, forests as well as the associated colours. The ring was then sketched on paper in order to visualise it and to study its feasibility. Following this first step, the technical manufacturing can then begin… A wax model, jewellery craftsmanship, setting, polishing, all these different manufacturing phases are essential. Through all this expertise and the precision of each craft, the Autumn jewel can come to life and delight lovers of French Haute Joaillerie.
